How the CS2 weekly drop works

Every Prime account can earn one Weekly Care Package a week. It arrives with your first level up after the reset, so the first time you rank up in a week you get it. The package offers four rewards and you keep two of them. If you do not choose, the rewards are lost when the next package arrives.

The week resets every Wednesday at 01:00 UTC. That is Tuesday evening in the Americas and early Wednesday in Europe and Asia. The countdown above is already in your own time zone.

What can drop right now

The drop pool is the set of cases and collections Valve currently offers in Care Packages. Right now that is three cases (Dreams & Nightmares, Revolution and Kilowatt), two terminals (Sealed Genesis and Sealed Dead Hand), skins from five collections (Harlequin, Achroma, Ascent, Boreal and Radiant), and since September 2026 Chicken Eggs and Chicken Feed. Graffiti and charm detachments can be offered too.

Valve changes the pool without announcing it. We update this page when it changes, and the date above the collections shows the last change.

Questions

Do I need Prime to get weekly drops?

Yes. Weekly Care Packages are only for Prime accounts.

Why did I not get a drop this week?

The package comes with your first level up after the reset. If you have not ranked up since Wednesday 01:00 UTC, keep playing until you do.

Does a Chicken Egg cost me both rewards?

Yes. A Chicken Egg or Chicken Feed takes both of the week's picks, so choosing one means you get nothing else that week. Neither can be traded or sold.

Can I trade what I get from the drop?

Cases, terminals and skins from the drop can be traded and sold like any other item. You can trade them on SkinStash too.
